ABOUT KLBP

KLBP-LP is a licensed low-power FM (LPFM) station in Long Beach, CA. Broadcasting at 99.1 FM from the Port of Long Beach with a signal that reaches downtown and west Long Beach, Wilmington, and somewhat into San Pedro. Long Beach Public Radio offers locally grown Entertainment, Education, and Conversation for Long Beach and neighboring Harbor Communities. The station streams online at klbp.org and on our own app (Get at Apple, Google). Stream us also on RadioFX, Icecast, TuneIn, Simple Radio, and myTuner.

KLBP is committed to providing a venue for homegrown and indie talent, local news, issues and stories. We are authentically: Community Crafted Radio.

KLBP was built from concept to its on-air debut in December 2018 by a group of volunteers comprised of radio veterans and industry professionals, educators, and those passionate about radio… and their community at large.
